❇️ 8TIPS to improve your PRODUCTIVITY

It is so easy to get distracted and before you know it, the day is over and you have not completed half of what you planned to do.

I have highlighted a few tips on productivity to help you maximise your results daily:

  1. Daily Planning: To do List

The night before or first thing that morning, write down your to do list. BUT circle the top 3 and focus on those only.

Don’t get sucked into low-priority tasks.

  • Weekly Commitments

Once a week, I sit down to figure out the most important things I need to get done during the week. I use these weekly commitments help me prioritize my daily to-dos.

  • Productive vs Busy

This is something I am passionate about. We are so busy busy but are we being productive and making progress to achieve our targets / goals?

  • Time Blocking and Peak Hours

Not everyone is operating at their peak at 5am. Work out what those hours are where you are in the zone and block them out for focused work.

Managing your ENERGY will allow you to feel the flow during the day

  • Turn off the notifications on your phone while working

There are a few options here: turn off the notifications, put the phone in flight mode, or flip it over / put it in a drawer in the room next door so you don’t see the screen. This will increase your focus tenfold.

  • Pomodoro Technique

It’s a fairly simple concept of breaking down your work day into blocks of 25 minutes on and 5 minutes off. I find the timer keeps me focused and it’s amazing the results you will see.🎯

  • Declutter

I am often guilty of having too much paper around me on my desk, which results in time wasting and my mind being distracted. 

  • Move your body 

It is key to take time to give your mind a rest and move your body. It can be stretching, 20 jumping jacks, 10 pushups or whatever gets the blood pumping. No need to run a Marathon. 🏃‍♀️🤸‍♂️🏋️‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️🏊‍♂️
